The joint bottling series "Artwork" by the popular German bottler "Whiskey Agency" and the Japanese authorized importer Three Rivers. The strict selection by both companies is a reliable lineup even in the bottler scene. It's also a fun release with a different artistic label design each time.
On the nose: Old school highland character! Not quite dry hay, walk in the forest, orange zest. Tastes subtle and elegant, new wood, freshly cut mushrooms. The finish is pleasantly dry, bitter almond, apricot kernel, medium length.
