Vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 2509J
Circa 1950s.
This piece we have on hand is a rare variation of Calatrava from Patek Philippe, with radium markers and hands, and a lume dial. The dial is in classic Calatrava style with sub-seconds at 6 o’clock, dauphine hands and baton markers.
The Calatrave Ref.2509 is powered by the manual-wind calibre 12-400, a derivative of the original 12-120 introduced in 1932 as the first in-house, manual-wind mechanical movement. The size is 35mm, completed with screw-back 18k yellow gold case.
