Fragile Blooms was inspired by the artist and photographer Richard Learoyd. In one of his most well-known series, he focused on capturing still-life arrangements of poppies, taking the photos over a couple of days to record their process of decay. The poppies in this design are captured in a similar way, focusing on the unusual but beautiful shapes of the aging flower heads.
