This is a matcha cup made in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Jakuchu's birth, Chrysanthemum in Jakuchu's painting.

This is the motif of Jakuchu's "Shakuakuaku" (garland painting).
This is one of the works in a series of paintings of matcha bowls in the twelve months of the four seasons, full of color.

Beautiful colors and forms, captured by Jakuchu's unique sensibility, and meticulous depiction.
The work is developed through the "sketched objects".
Each piece is handcrafted and delicately and painstakingly overpainted, and the matcha bowl is a true gem of beauty that you can enjoy with your eyes and hands.

A large white chrysanthemum blooms in the air, and a single stem stretches diagonally, with flowers blooming downward.
The curves of flowing water in the style of Korin greet them softly.

It's as if you are looking at a painting by Jakuchu, an elaborate painting.A perfect gift for a couple's anniversary or other occasions.
