Omega Seamaster Ref.2757 Calendar in Rose Gold Automatic Watch

This well-preserved vintage from Omega presents a silvered dial, centre seconds and double-signed Omega and Seamaster Calendar in letters.

The hours are marked by rose gold gilt, faceted Dagger with complementary gilt Dauphine hands. In-place of markers at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock are applied rose gold Arabic numerals.

The face is clean and typical of the 1950s dress watch design.

The Omega trademark sits at 12 o’clock in applied gold metal.

The date aperture uniquely sits at 6 o’clock, different from later models that presents the date at 3 o’clock.

The Reference 2757 is powered by the Calibre 355 Automatic movement with swan neck regulator.

At 35.5mm, this sports piece in precious metal was common in an era when gentlemen watches with a hint of sportiness were popular.

This piece made with French case provided that additional strength seafarers seek. As with all early Seamasters, there is no Seamaster emblem on the caseback.
