Vintage Rolex Oyster Chronograph Ref.3525 Yellow Gold and Steel Combined Case from the 1940s.
This vintage example from the 1940s have very distributed and even patina formed on the dial, which features two slightly recessed subsidiary dial for chronometer registers, three inner scales beginning with the minute train tracks in black, followed by the telemeter (km) in blue, then the Tachymeter in red forming the outer rim. Time is marked by black gilt baton markers and Plongeur hands with lume. Signed Anti-magnetic at six, this Reference was built to be a highly reliable tool watch for exploring the depths from the drawing board.
