Launched in 1946, the Reference 2424 was produced only in small numbers until at least 1952 in yellow gold, rose hold and platinum. 8 rose gold versions were identified back in the market and what we have on hand is one of three with pink dial, making this vintage piece extremely rare. Visually, the multi-faceted, overhanging lugs is voluptuous and salient, a work of renowned goldsmith – Ponti Gennari.
