Vintage 1960s Constellation Automatic Chronometer

$2,571
A vintage Swiss Made Omega Constellation Chronometer with reference number 168.016, dating back to the late 1960's. The 35mm case is made of stainless steel with what we believe to be a gold capped finish.

Behind the crystal sits a champagne, almost gold tone dial with a sandblasted-like grainy finish. Gold tone indices can be found around the outer rim, with gold tone pencil style hands fitting perfectly into the elegant and minimalist watch face. A day-date window can be seen at the 3 O'clock position, with the date being quickly adjusted by repeatedly pulling the crown. Said crown is original and bears the Omega logo.

The watch is powered by a high quality Omega Calibre 751, an automatic movement with 24 jewels and sweep seconds hand. It has been fully serviced and is keeping time perfectly. All of this is kept safe by a screw-in back which bears the Observatory of Geneva medallion.
