CARTIER Tank Divan Ladies Ref. 2599 Watch - Stainless Steel
Designed personally by Louis Cartier in 1917 and patterned after an army tank, Cartier's Tank watch symbolized speed and achievement and has become one of the company's iconic models.
The Tank Divan, one of Cartier's modern Tank models. Not a re-issued or modernized version of a vintage model, the Divan gives the classic Tank a modern flair. Because the watch initially was not a large commercial success and was discontinued after a relatively short period of time, much fewer Divan's are available than other Tank models. Consequently, this has made the model hold its value better than other Tanks and become more desirable.
