A stunning piece of Finnish design history — this is the iconic Revontulet (meaning “Northern Lights”) art glass bowl designed by Tauno Wirkkala for Humppila Glassworks, Finland, produced between 1972 and 1987.

Wirkkala created this sculptural masterpiece to evoke the shimmering sheets of light that dance across the Arctic sky. The exterior is richly textured to resemble sheets of ice, while the interior is smooth and open — striking both as a decorative object and a functional bowl.

It makes a breathtaking centerpiece, statement shelf display, or the perfect gift for lovers of Nordic design and vintage glass.
