Vintage Chinese Vase

A highly textured and unusual Chinese lacquer/resin vase. 

Circa: Early 20th century.

Showing intricate floral motifs, the color of this vase ranges from almost black, dark brown and some red notes in differing lighting conditions.

With signs of hand carving, this vase appears to have a copper interior shell (below the rim) with lacquer and resin applied with relief carving. This vase is not suited for holding water.
