Vintage Michael Harris Isle of Wight Studio Glass Vase - "Black Azurene"

Early vase from the series "Black Azurene", designed by Michael Harris for Isle of Wight Studio Glass in the late 70s. High-quality hand-blown unique piece.

The vase bears the flame sign of the studio on the demolition, which was used until about 1980. Azurene vases with the flame sign are rarely found.

Cylindrical shape. Almost black glass with light melts and with particles of 24K real gold. This vase adds very nice accents in shades of blue or turquoise.
