The Material – Steamed ash
Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important indigenous deciduous timbers. It is to be found in Europe, most commonly in the northerly regions.
In our manufactory, the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature. Through this process, it attains high resistance to water, the grain is accentuated and the wood takes on its brown tone. To preserve the naturalness of the surface, however, it is treated only with oil, not lacquered. This provides the wood with absolute protection against water and makes it particularly long-lasting.
Chrome, the final touch added to the masterpiece, demonstrates its best qualities: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, alluring lustre. When contrasted with this, the shapes and colours of other premium materials are shown to their very best advantage.
The Razorhead – Gillette® Fusion™
The latest shaving system from Gillette® embraces five blades positioned one above the other. There is also a precision edging blade located on the back of the cartridge. This design ensures a close and gentle shave. Its simple and safe handling is ideal even for newcomers. The blades are available from retailers everywhere.
The blade guard made of plastic protects the blade and prevents from cuts when storing the safety razor or while traveling. Works for all MÜHLE Gillette® Fusion™ razors.
