Zalto
Zalto is an Austrian specialist manufacturer of hand-blown and lead-free crystal stemware and decanters. While the glass-making Zalto dynasty migrated from Venice to Lower-Austria six generations ago, Zalto Denk’Art glasses have been known to a wider group of wine enthusiasts only much more recently.
While Zalto features very delicate glass edges, which allow you to literally get closer to the wine in terms of nose and palate, the dishwasher-friendly glasses are from our experience not more fragile than other high quality stemware. Also the flatter than usual bottom of the glass – with angles inspired by the axis of the earth – facilitates the swirling of the wine in your glass.
