Description
Crafted by hand on authentic pure cotton using the Adire batik tradition, the design is arranged in alternating horizontal bands across the cloth. The deeper navy bands carry bold white symbolic motifs — X shapes, double arrow chevrons, vertical dash groupings, oval forms and curved wave marks — arranged in loose repeating sequences that feel like a written script or a carved frieze. Between them, softer cream and pale blue bands carry a quieter crackle texture with smaller dot and circular detail, giving the eye space to rest before the next bold stripe draws it back in.

We are proud to be able to revisit and introduce this lost art through these beautiful shirts.

    Material and Care Notes

    This product is made using natural dyes. 

    Hand wash in cold water with mild soap, hang dry and press with dry iron. 

    Machine wash in gentle cycle with cold water and mild soap, do not put in dryer. 

    Hand wash separately for indigo-dyed shirt.
