Elodie likes to separate this cuvée from vines that sit next to Santenay Clos Rousseau as its individuality of flavours are too dominant to blend with her other parcels. The berries from this site are very small and intense, so she whole cluster vinifies 80% of the fruit. With heaps of dark alpine fruits, the tannins have a firm, granular personality, tremendous density of fruit and a very persistent finish.
