A limited single cask bottling from the most famous Orkney distillery. This joint bottling by The Whiskey Agency and Three Rivers Tokyo was released exclusively for the Japanese market. By a lucky coincidence we were able to grant some bottles asylum in the whiskey temple before the trip to Nippon.
A wonderfully balanced whiskey. On the nose: Fresh and crisp, light smoke, apple juice, a little flowery, vanilla, lime spritzer. Mouth: light, tangerine, peach, tangy, a little salt, a little smoke, good mouthfeel. The finish is crispy, sweet, refreshing, short, stone fruit, slightly citrusy.
