About the artist: Zhitomir artist Zhegunov Alexander Mikhailovich Born on April 14, 1951, in the city of Zhitomir.
Graduated from the Ivanovo Art School (1972). Teachers in the specialty: I. Kalashnikov, S. Troitsky. Painter. He portrayed people in moments of existential choice, a creative impulse, sought to rethink the themes of birth and death, obedience and struggle, faith in God and the tragedy of internal devastation. The artist's work gravitates towards expressive color solutions.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1983). He worked in the workshops of the Art Fund of Zhitomir (1973-1998). Creative work. The works are kept in the Zhytomyr Museum of Local Lore. Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
